I became a Trustee of the Middlesex Learning Trust in 2024 and I am a member of the Business and Audit Committee. 

My background: I studied Communications and Public Relations at Faculdades Integradas Alcantara Machado (FIAM) in Sao Paulo and initially built my career in Brazil working for several blue chip organisations such as Lloyds Bank, Motorola, Givaudan/Roche and British Gas. I moved to the United Kingdom in 2001 and since then I qualified as a chartered accountant in 2008 and have worked in senior roles in both Finance and Operations within both energy and financial services sectors, including Tristone Capital (Macquarie Group) and FirstEnergy/GMP Capital (acquired by Stifel in Dec/2019). More recently, I joined the VSA Capital management team in 2020 as Finance Director and Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for Finance, Operations (including Human Resources and IT), Risk and Compliance.
