Join our Trust

Middlesex Learning Trust (MLT) is driven by an unrelenting belief in excellence. Evidence shows that a combination of strong collaboration and accountability, afforded by a multi-academy trust structure, drives up standards.  Within MLT, exceptional leaders, high-quality teachers and support staff help transform the life chances of students and make a real difference in their communities. By working together, MLT’s schools provide a highly regarded and vibrant learning community which is stronger than the sum of its individual parts.

We are currently three successful schools working in partnership: The Compton School, Southgate School and Stopsley High School. Working alongside our schools is The Compton School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) which provides excellent teacher training leading to Qualified Teacher Status. MLT more widely provides first rate career opportunities across its schools. The Trust aims to deliver a model that underpins the highest level of professionalism whilst continuing to maximise academic outcomes and opportunities for students. MLT has a proven record of highly effective support: Stopsley High School in Luton joined MLT in September 2021 and the Trust was delighted that they were awarded an improved Ofsted grading of ‘Good’ in Autumn 2022 one year after joining.
