I was the first Chair of Trustees for the Middlesex Learning Trust (“MLT”) from  its inception in August 2017, having previously been Chair of the Governing Body at The Compton School from October 2008 until October 2016. I was been involved in the strategic planning and development of the multi-academy trust, including work on the Free School and wider MAT expansion.

My children were both students at The Compton School and I became a member of its Governing Body in December 2005. I was designated a National Leader of Governance in January 2014. 

My background: After studying modern languages at university, I qualified as a chartered accountant at one of the Big4 accountancy firms.  For the last 20 years or so I have worked in mergers & acquisitions, leading on the execution of transactions both in the UK and internationally.
