John joined The Compton School in July 2013 as HR Advisor. When Southgate School joined the MLT the role developed into that of HR Business Partner. 

John is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and has over 20 years' experience working in Human Resources. He has worked in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining The Compton School, John was employed by Syntegra and BT, working in the whole sale finance sector. Most recently he worked for Barnet Local Authority providing specialist HR support to schools across Barnet.
