Barnet Teaching Fair - Wednesday 17th January at London Academy Primary School, Spur Road Edgware HA8 8DE

This is an opportunity for teachers, trainee teachers and graduates wanting to get into teaching, to gain information about routes into teaching at Barnet’s outstanding schools.
The evening caters for guests wanting to teach in both primary and secondary schools.
Who should attend:

Graduates
Graduates can speak with Barnet Teaching School staff about routes into teaching. The Compton SCITT currently offers:

• Secondary School Direct Salaried (SDS)
• Secondary Training Route
• Primary and Secondary Assessment Only (AO)
• Primary School Direct Salaried (SDS)
• Primary Training Route

Current Trainee Teachers
Trainees will have to opportunity to meet Headteachers and Senior Teachers from a range of Primary and Secondary Schools who are activity looking to recruit NQTs. This will be an excellent opportunity to exchange details and arrange a visit to a local school.

Teachers and Returning Teachers
Teachers and Teachers returning to the profession are welcome to attend and will be able to talk directly with a range of Headteachers about how to apply for teaching posts at their schools. A session will be delivered on how to apply for a job in our partnership of schools, presented by a Headteacher. This will give guests clear guidance on what Headteachers are looking for at interview.
